Great article. I still wonder, in my unpublished state, if it's egotistical to call myself a writer. But, I write. It's what I spend my days doing, so...
Always good to know I'm not alone in that fear, and that decision to say 'screw it' and call myself a writer, even if I do say it very quietly.
Thanks for the comment! Not to worry, you aren't calling yourself a published writer. I've come to understand that writing is an art pursuit, publishing is a business. Anyone in honest and serious pursuit is a writer.
